Who are the people that you want to direct to your website? Ideally, the people that are directly searching for information about your industry or area of expertise.Typically people begin to search for information by entering questions or search terms into Google. As a global technology leader, Google prides itself on connecting people with information and constructs numerous algorithms to optimize content featured on search engine result pages (SERPs). However, millions of brands compete for the top positions on SERPs, so how do you ensure your website is featured?Google finalized an agreement with ScribbleLive that will help rank content published using the ScribbleLive platform. Google will recognize search queries that describe a live event powered by ScribbleLive, and feature recent posts from that event in a carousel-style feature in the search results. When a user clicks on one of the posts, he/she will be redirected to the webpage that hosts the event. The first page of Google SERPs used to feature 10 links to various sources of content. However, the demand for real-time news and updates required Google to change the type of content appearing on the first page of search results. The partnership with ScribbleLive is part of Google’s commitment to further optimize content in SERPs.Divesh Sisodraker, Chief Product Officer at ScribbleLive, says the relationship with Google will help content publishers reach more of their target audiences.“We are delighted to partner with Google to ensure that anyone in the world will be able find compelling real-time content.
