TORONTO — April 9, 2019 — ScribbleLive, a content performance company, today announced that it has successfully completed the Type 1 Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Examination. The examination was completed by Schellman & Company, LLC, and included the Security category within the Trust Services Criteria.
SOC 2 reports are attestation reports that opine on the controls stated in the system description at a service organization relevant to security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, or privacy (otherwise known as the Trust Services Criteria). The Type 1 designation indicates that the report opines on management’s description of a service organization’s system and the suitability of the design of controls.
The completion of the Type 1 SOC 2 Examination solidifies ScribbleLive’s commitment to upholding the highest industry standards in security.
Of the Type 1 SOC 2 Examination, Brett Huntington, SVP of Global Solutions at ScribbleLive stated, “We are proud to have successfully completed the examination. We are taking all measures to ensure that our customers’ data is safe, and this examination process has formalized the processes we have in place to protect all those who trust us in using the ScribbleLive Content Cloud, particularly in the age of GDPR and growing security concerns.”
